The concrete reason for this is the broadcast on ARD, “Menschen bei Maischberger” from 16.11.2010, 23.15 hrs, on the topic “Extrasensory powers: Mystery or nonsense? This mission has only just become known to us, yet we have an urgent need to comment on it: Under the moderation of Sandra Maischberger the topic was discussed controversially and lively by the guests Kim-Anne Jannes, Nora Rhiola Klee, Dr. Rüdiger Dahlke, Thorsten Havener, Dr. Colin Goldner and Prof. Dr. Heinz Oberhummer.
While Kim-Anne Jannes said, she could communicate with the deceased, Nora Rhiola Klee practiced the energetic room cleaning and Dr. Rüdiger Dahlke who uses reincarnation therapy, Prof. Dr. Heinz Oberhummer points out, that such esoteric methods are far behind any reality.
It is remarkable that the proponents and users of energetic procedures abstain from subjective assessments, while the psychologist Dr. Colin Goldner makes a statement that is as judgmental as it is untenable in our opinion:
“There are two categories of providers in the esoteric scene. Some are really convinced that they have supernatural abilities. The others know that they can’t do anything, but they do business with the worries of others. Some are cases for psychiatry, others for the prosecutor.” (Source: DasErste.de – People at Maischberger – Guests of 16.11.2010)
Although we respect Dr Goldner’s sweeping statement, we cannot leave it in the room unchallenged. It is unacceptable for millions of people who seek their spiritual identity to place themselves uncritically in the hands of psychopaths or fraudsters.
In addition, there is at least a third category of providers, namely those who have learned to communicate with their subconscious and thus use its energetic connection to all that exists. This is by no means a matter of supernatural abilities, but of those which are inherent to every human being. The question is only whether a human being opens himself to these, his very own potentials, or whether he prefers to limit himself to his learned knowledge.
As a psychologist, Dr. Goldner represents an empirical science, i.e. a science based on experience. If new findings are gained here, they become part of this science over the years. In this context we refer to the latest research results of Prof. Dr. Bruce Lipton, USA, who has proven the direct influence of psychic energy fields in a person’s environment on his body cells. This so far as concerns the subject of energetic healing.
In contrast to psychology, physics is an exact science, which Professor Dr. Oberhummer also expresses by insisting on the concept of “reality”. The question is only what reality actually is real. In Newtonian physics there is one with certainty, but what about quantum physics? What about the fact that something like an “elementary particle of matter” is not detectable in physics? Can photons not be influenced by psychic energy, i.e. by the expectations of the observer? Is this not reality? Of course this is reality; it is proven in the physical experiment. The psychic energy of expectation, which distracts the photons in the experiment, this is the kind of energy we are talking about here, Professor Dr. Oberhummer.
This brings us to the following question and with its answers to which we would also like to present our view of the subject:
We are creative; we want to understand the world around us so that we can develop something new out of this understanding. At school, at university, in training and at work, but also in everyday life, we have learned that everything we encounter has a rationally explainable cause. And we understand this cause. From this understanding we draw our inner security to be able to distinguish exactly what is right or wrong, reasonable or stupid. And the more experienced we become, the stronger our beliefs become. So firm and secure that we pass these firm beliefs on to others. Here our beliefs are unconscious programs that give us absolute inner security, but at the same time prevent us from intensively dealing with possible other perspectives. But maybe we will go on a little voyage of discovery…
We are engaged in science and research to understand the smallest particles that make up everything we can see and touch. We want to be able to look at everything very closely and therefore always make ourselves smaller and smaller, smaller than a grain of sand, smaller than a single human cell and finally so small that a human cell appears to us as big as Mount Everest. Now we enter through huge cracks and fissures solid matter e.g. metal, wood or stone.
Everywhere we see the same picture: giant spheres of single atoms forming huge molecules. We get 1000 times smaller and enter atoms that are not solid at all. They consist of tiny protons and neutrons in the middle, which are orbited at huge distances by much smaller electrons.
Actually the electrons are not there at all, only if we wish to see one, then we also see one in the distance. We go further and further towards the protons and neutrons, which get bigger and bigger as we get closer. We enter a proton that is not as dense as it looked from a distance. We look around and see – nothing. Only when we imagine seeing something do we immediately see light reflexes, so-called quarks, pure energy fields. Here, inside an atomic nucleus, many billions of times smaller than a pinhead, we find nothing.
Everything seems completely empty. But this emptiness is so full of possibilities that every time we imagine we could see something, we immediately see a quark. This emptiness is not empty, but offers the fullness of all possibilities that we can imagine. By the way, this representation is also called quantum physics.
The world we perceive and live in cannot be grasped with the means of physics, mathematics, chemistry and biology at our disposal. With quantum physics we have the possibility to describe processes theoretically and precisely, the content of which is completely far removed from all human logic. Human logic is completely unsuitable to describe the miracle of life, the miracle of being even approximately. Nevertheless, this miracle is there and it changes with every thought and every thought is human creation. With each thought we come a little closer to the infinity of being with all its richness, its variety and its fullness according to human concepts. What is more, we have already arrived at every moment of our lives in the infinite abundance and variety of being and through our subconscious we are energetically connected to everything that exists.
We recognize that there is no such thing as a tiny particle. But instead we have found something that turns our physical, rational world upside down: An absolute emptiness so full of possibilities as to correspond to our own thought vibrations and, as a result, our beliefs. And the fascinating thing about it is that our beliefs are immediately translated into reality at the same time, i.e. without any loss of time. As a conclusion, we can only draw one thing from this miracle:
Quantum physics with the miracle of entanglement is reality; we create reality through the energy of our unconscious beliefs. Matter is illusion at the level of absolute being, just as time and space are illusions here. Only on the human level of consciousness are matter, time and space perceived as real. The only thing that counts in our world of unlimited possibilities is the thought manifested as unconscious conviction. The thought that is accepted as real by our subconscious creates the reality in which we find ourselves. Thoughts come to us, these lead to beliefs and we create reality.
Here the subconscious does not evaluate, but realizes exactly what corresponds to its own truth, which is expressed in billions of unconscious programs. If, for example, the fear of a disease corresponds to the unconscious beliefs, the disease will occur. If the unconscious beliefs are focused on health and abundance, they will be translated into reality. The psychologist Dr. Joseph Murphy pointed out this systematics already in 1962 in his book “Die Macht Ihres Unterbewusstseins” (The Power of Your Subconsciousness) on the basis of a multitude of cases.
Our subconscious forms an energetic unity with everything. Everything is one. According to our concepts, this connectedness is created simultaneously – in the reality of being timeless – by the energies which, for our way of viewing and perceiving, are located in the seemingly empty space between the atomic nuclei and the electrons or also within the atomic nuclei and within the electrons. This energy is also called “zero point energy”. There is infinitely more of this seemingly empty space, which is filled with the sum of all only perceptible possibilities, thus far more, than all imaginable possibilities, than the space filled with matter, which we can consciously perceive with our senses. This infinite, not sensually perceptible, but nevertheless intuitively perceptible space does not form a space in the reality of being, but an intimate unity.
Now we are in the dimension of our true being, beyond our learned concepts of time and space. Only being exists in this dimension, both as a collective unity with all that is and as our individual being, which is shaped by the experiences we have gathered in many individual forms of being. In this dimension there is no distance between two points and therefore no time in which this non-existent distance can be bridged. So there is no speed here either.
In order to understand this dimension with our learned concepts of time and space, we need a model in which we imagine ourselves being in two, in several and finally in all places of the world at the same time. Here we are a tiny part of a larger whole but at the same time the part of the larger whole that is aware of its individuality as an independent personality with all subjective experiences ever made.
As an individual part of this larger whole, we are not alone. Rather, we are also part of other individuals and forms of being who have formed their own personality from their own subjective experiences. Or, in summary: Everything is one, everything is eternal, everything is simultaneous, everything is individual and everything is creative. We are the part of everything that is aware of it and are therefore at the same time individually out of the sum of our subjective feelings and experiences. And we are not alone, because we are connected at all times and are part of other individuals and forms of being who have their own personality, which they perfect with their own creativity in a creative act through the individual experiences connected with it.
Everything is in the flow of being and as multidimensional beings we are the part of the flow that is aware of it, but only – and this is the paradox of human nature – when the awake, rational consciousness from which we all draw our creativity is completely passive and at the same time attentive at the side. In order to achieve this and to experience in an individual way more about being and the life perspectives founded in it, a state of inward attention is generally necessary, a kind of trance.
In all cultures there is a wealth of possibilities to make such individual experiences, be it in hypnosis, meditation, shamanic rituals, intuitive openness or other forms.
Here we are again at the initial question: extrasensory powers: mystery or mumbo jumbo?
It is our firm conviction that such supernatural powers do not exist. However, every human being has far greater abilities than those which are generally accepted by society. The question is only whether and in what way he uses them and whether he has the courage to make these subjective experiences public, which go beyond the framework of social acceptance.
However, we do not presume to evaluate the individual experiences reported by another person. In this respect, we agree with Dr. Dahlke when he says:
“Ultimately, every person should take responsibility for his own destiny.” (Source: DasErste.de – People at Maischberger – Guests of 16.11.2010)
